Every now and then I get asked what gear I use to shoot my weddings, most modern cameras are all pretty much the same these days but I like using less gear so I can be mobile and quick during your wedding day.

You won’t find me lurking miles away with a massive lens, I will be in the thick of it capturing those otherwise unseen moments.

LUMIX S5 MK1

My S5 is a real Photography powerhouse, shooting incredible images in both light and dark situations. I use two of these during any wedding or family session, both cameras are using fixed prime lenses and both have twin SD card slots for added back up, this is essential for weddings!

LUMIX 50mm F/1.8

My absolute go to focal length for weddings. This is a fantastic way to capture a wedding day as its range is very similar to what a human eye sees.

LUMIX 24mm F/1.8

The perfect lens for wide group photos or great for environmental storytelling and documentary style photos.

LUMIX 85mm F/1.8

The go-to portrait and cocktail hour lens, with stunning background separation its a regular for all my weddings.

MacBook Pro M2 Pro

All my editing is done on a Mac (what else?). I edit using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Godox V1

I’m not one for flashguns or artificial light but when the fun and dancing starts its an absolute must!

Peak Design 6L Sling

My go to grab bag, full of batteries, SD cards, spare lenses and everything else.

iPhone 13 Pro Max

Camera systems have come so far on our phones but I think this one really does go above and beyond for both stills and video. Great for behind the senes and reels.
